Friends of a Brooklyn teen say he was jumped near Prospect Park Southwest Saturday night before collapsing and dying.

Jamar Allah says a group of friends was out celebrating in Prospect Park when a few guys insulted a member of their group. Allah says he and his friends confronted the men and told them to leave the park. The men allegedly got an older friend, who Allah says was between 30 and 40 years old before they ambushed Sharif Abdallah and another friend. According to Allah, Abdallah was beaten before he keeled over and died.

Friends say Abdallah had a heart murmur, which may have led to his death. Abdallah was taken to Methodist Hospital after collapsing, but was pronounced dead on arrival.

"He was talented. He was an artist. He never bothered anyone," Allah says. "He was a good kid, a good friend and I loved him."
