First there was the cronut, then the cragel, but an Italian bakery in Brooklyn has a new pastry hybrid for residents with a sweet tooth -- The Holy Cannoli Donut.
Circo's, which has been on Knickerbocker Avenue in Bushwick since 1945, offers a traditional American doughnut filled with the baker's signature cannoli cream, topped with crumbled cannoli shells and chocolate.
Circo's says the store makes between 500 and 600 Holy Cannolis a day.
The bakery ships them all over the country.
