A chocolate fanatic in Brooklyn is combining the joy of eating the sweet treat with a good cause.
Rescue Chocolate, out of Sunset Park, was created by Sarah Feoli. The company takes its profits from the chocolate they sell and donate them to animal rescue groups around the country.
The idea came to Feoli one morning while walking her dog, who is appropriately named Mocha.
The chocolate that Feoli sells is unique as well – they are vegan, so they contain no milk. She says they are made this way to show her commitment to protecting animals.
Rescue Chocolate is made entirely from dark chocolate and has 10 different flavors to choose from.
