With a beautiful forecast and lots of Giants fans in attendance, the Super Bowl champion New York Giants were honored by the city with a ticker-tape parade down Broadway.
Thousands of fans lined the streets to get a glimpse of the team, including MVP Eli Manning, who was joined on his float by Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Many Brooklyn fans said they wouldn't be anywhere else today, including some who skipped work and took their kids out of school for the day.
Also joining the Giants in their parade down the Canyon of Heroes was the Fort Hamilton High School marching band.
