Republican Wendy Long won a three-way primary for U.S. Senate, beating out George Maragos and Rep. Bob Turner. Long will face incumbent Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand in November.
In the 13th Congressional District, Rep. Charles Rangel has defeated Sen. Andria Espaillat, Joyce Johnson, Craig Schley and Clyde Williams in the Democratic primary.
In the 16th Congressional District, incumbent Rep. Eliot Engel defeated Aniello Grimaldi in the Democratic Primary.
