Gov. Kathy Hochul and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand have announced a state-wide media campaign to inform New York residents about newly expanded access to child care assistance.
Families that earn up to $83,000 are now able to partake in the statewide offer, extending eligibility to nearly 400,000 more children.
The governor also announced expanded eligibility for round two of child care provider stabilization grants.
This would allow all school-age child care programs to apply for the grants, along with the over 900 providers that were licensed by the start of the year.
