Governor Murphy signed a new law in effect in Mercer County Thursday effecting the ride-share business.
Sami’s Law will require ride-share company vehicles to display specific identification to ensure a passenger's safety.
This law is in honor of Samantha Josephson, of Robbinsville, who was abducted and murdered earlier this year when the 21-year old got into a car she thought was her Uber.
Murphy says this law should work in cooperation with the "What's My Name" campaign.
