Whether it's blueberry, apple or cherry, pie is almost a given after most Thanksgiving dinners, and Brooklyn is not short on shops to buy them from.
Customers started pouring into Four & Twenty Blackbirds early Wednesday morning to grab one of their pies just in time for Thanksgiving.
Anne Rankin says she visits New York from Scotland every year for Thanksgiving, and always makes sure to grab a pie at the crowd-favorite Gowanus shop.
Flavors at the shop include salty honey, brown butter pumpkin, bittersweet chocolate pecan and salted caramel apple, their most popular.
Store manager Carol Stanley-Cunningham says the shop has been busy since Tuesday, with customers coming in to pick up pies that they had pre-ordered online.
If dismayed by Wednesday's poor weather, Four & Twenty Blackbirds will be open for business Thanksgiving Day.
