Workers at Pie Corps in Greenpoint are busy measuring, pouring, sprinkling and stirring in an effort to bake pies to complement Thursday's Thanksgiving feast.
The bakery has made up to 700 pies so far before the holiday.
"Now is the time when people start to desperately try and pick up those last minute pies," says Dan Karpan, of Pie Corps. "Everyone sort of forgets until the last two days."
Some of its specialties include pumpkin pie with brown butter strudel, apple crumb with rosemary caramel and Nantucket cranberry pie.
