A hateful message was found written on a deli in the Country Club section of the Bronx.
Frank Ali is renovating his deli on Ampere Avenue and preparing for its grand opening. But he was met with an unwelcoming message when he walked into the building this past weekend.
Ali says written on the window was, "Arabs keep out." It's a surprise, he says, because the community has been so welcoming thus far.
But Ali, who didn't wish to speak on camera, says he's not too worried about the message and that he has experienced far worse.
Police say the complaint has been filed as criminal mischief but is being investigated by the Hate Crimes Task Force.
