It was a violent start to summer in The Bronx after police report two separate stabbings and a double shooting on Monday.
According to authorities, a man in his 20s is recovering after getting stabbed multiple times at Orchard Beach at around 3 p.m. on Memorial Day. They say a second person was stabbed overnight inside a building on Jackson Avenue, but is expected to be OK.
Gunfire also erupted in the borough at Walton Avenue and Mount Hope Place at around midnight. Authorities say two other men were wounded and one bullet punctured the window of a nearby school.
