Holocaust survivors in Brooklyn are coming together each week for a luncheon to remember their pasts and comfort one another.
The non-profit Self Help Community Services hosts what it calls a "coffee house" every Thursday at the Flatbush Jewish Center.
The coffee house name is meant to help create a casual comfortable setting for survivors to relax with each other, especially because so many of them live alone.
The organization also provides transportation for survivors, both to and from the luncheon.
