It was a homecoming last night for a Bronx basketball star who hit the court with his college team at Madison Square Garden.

West Virginia University senior and former Saint Raymond's student Darryl "Truck" Bryant went up against St. John's University. The Mountaineers fought hard, but the Red Storm netted a 78-62 point win.

Bryant is having his best season yet. His points per game are up from 11 to 17 and the Mountaineers are 5-3 in the Big East.

Bryant says he loves coming back home and playing in New York, but as a competitor, admits it was hard to lose.
