A 3-year-old girl alleged to have been beaten into a coma by her mother?s boyfriend has died, according to Brookdale University Hospital officials.
Eleacha Oliver Ragoo had been on life support since last month after police say Anthony Merritt shook and threw her on a bed while babysitting.
Merritt was arrested and charged with assault. No word yet on whether the charges will be upgraded.
