Hundreds of Bronx residents lined up to hand in their resumes Thursday as part of a statewide job fair.
Twenty hiring local companies turned out at the Bronx Chamber of Commerce as part of Gov. Andrew Cuomo's effort to lower the 8.5-percent unemployment rate in New York.
Officials say 11 job fairs were set up throughout the state with more than 10,000 total openings.
