More than 600 elementary students rallied to call for an end to bullying in Throgs Neck today. The students gathered outside of P.S. 72. The Anti-Defamation League had designated the school as an official "No Place For Hate" school last year, and the group holds different diversity activities there to spread its message. The Anti-Defamation League says it has 36 schools participating in the No Place For Hate program this year, but says P.S. 72 is a "gold star school " for going above and beyond in calling for tolerance.
