John F. Kennedy outscored Francis Lewis as both teams reach for the PSAL girls basketball championship.
The high schools are on the short list of squads with a legitimate chance to win the title, but it was JFK who turned up the heat in Queens.
JFK's defense allowed only three points in the fourth quarter, bringing the final score to 49-30.
