Jury deliberations are continuing in the corruption trial of former state Sen. Pedro Espada Jr. and his son Pedro G. Espada.
The pair is accused of embezzling $500,000 from the Soundview Healthcare Network, a clinic they set up.
The clinic itself remains closed since yesterday after saying it is dealing with issues related to the Department of Health and hopes to reopen Monday.
Both Espadas have maintained throughout that they are innocent of all charges.
