A book fair Saturday at the Brooklyn Museum gave kids the chance to flip through books and then meet the creators of their favorite story lines.
Authors lined up to showcase their books while parents and children perused the pages.
Illustrators were also in attendance, showing children who to draw characters.
Organizers say it was the book fair's 13th year, and they look forward to reaching more children each year.
