Health experts are offering back-to-school tips to keep kids out from under heavy backpacks. Officials with the Consumer Product Safety Commission say backpack injuries in children under 18 increased more than 6 percent between 2010 and 2011. One Atlanta-based doctor says backpacks should weigh less than 16 percent of a child's body weight, and kids should steer clear from bags with narrow straps.
