Tenants at a Carroll Gardens apartment complex are rallying against their landlord for not maintaining the building, but increasing the price of rent.
Tenants at 63 Tiffany Place say the building has been rent-stabilized for decades, but when their new landlord took over the building back in 2010, the rent increased.
They say the landlord is not renewing their lease. Instead, he wants them to sign a document that requires them to pay more.
They say they feel this is a tactic to force them out of their homes.
The landlord did not get back to News 12 for comment.
