Tenants at the Lewis Morris houses held a meeting tonight with local leaders to discuss their living conditions.
Two of the main issues discussed tonight were the elevator and the penthouse at 1749 Grand Concourse. Tenants say the elevator is always broken and the penthouse isn't locked. They claim outsiders use the top floor to do drugs and vandalize the building.
Local leaders who showed up at Monday night's meeting promised the tenants change, and said they will get involved in the fight for repairs.
