In this sluggish economy, a local mother of three is doing her part to show Bronx residents how save some money while also helping area businesses grow.

Marie Musacchio launched the website "Shop The Bronx" where businesses in the borough can advertise. About 15 have joined on so far, including 900 Park whose owners says it increased revenue in just four months.

The site features promotions and discounts, as well as community events and free services. Musacchio says her future goal is to have an app for the site.
