A lottery has kicked off for affordable housing units now available in a Williamsburg apartment complex.
The building at 236 Berry St. will offer up a total of 50 units, including 15 one-bedroom residences.
The eligible income requirements would range from $113,000 to $165,000 and units include a washer and dryer. The building has a gym, business center, and a rooftop terrace.
Even with those amenities included, tenants will still have to pay for electricity. One resident from Greenpoint says that covering the rent and other utilities make it hard to find affordable living.
All applications must be submitted by Feb. 26. Click here for more information.
