Brooklyn residents can get their designer fix at a luxury consignment shop that just opened in the borough.

Opening in Cobble Hill just two weeks ago, The RealReal's Brooklyn location is one of four shops in the city selling designer purses, clothing, and accessories. They also have a dedicated section for vintage luxury items.

"We already had a pretty big existing consigner and customer base in Brooklyn, so we're really excited to expose lots of great foot traffic and get more exposure to the local community," said Elyssa Noblesala, a senior retail marketing manager.

The luxury consignment shop started online a decade ago. They plan to open 10 more locations soon, as they look to expand their brick-and-mortar locations.

"The circular economy is really important to us, and we think there's a lot of value in extending the life cycle of luxury," Noblesala said. "We're really excited to extend our physical footprint and bring this unique and immersive shopping experience to our buyers and our consigners."
