The incidents happened between July 12 and 13.
Police say the suspect first groped a 22-year-old woman inside of a Pacific Street and Nostrand Avenue apartment building and demanded sex around 11:45 p.m. They say the woman screamed and fought back before the suspect ran away.
Around 1 a.m. police say the same man entered an apartment building on St. Marks Avenue and New York Avenue where he followed a 29 year-old woman to her apartment and pushed her inside when she opened the door. Police say he placed his hand over the woman's mouth and wrapped his other arm around her body but she fought back and he ran away.
Police say the suspect then attacked a 22-year-old woman after following her into her apartment building near Lincoln Place and Albany Avenue around 2:30 a.m. According to investigators, the suspect pushed the woman to the ground and told her he had a knife before attempting to sexually assault her. Police say the woman sprayed the attacker with Mace before he ran away.
According to police, the suspect attempted to sexually assault a 32-year-old woman inside her apartment building lobby on Dean Street and Nostrand Avenue just an hour later. The suspect came up from behind the woman, placed one hand over her mouth and attempted to sexually assault her, according to police. The woman fought back, and the suspect ran away.
The suspect is described as about 6 feet tall, in his 20s, clean shaven with short hair and slim. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with white text across the chest, light-colored jeans and sneakers.
