Police have arrested a man who allegedly tried to sexually assault a girl on an East New York street.
Akijah Hall, 20, was charged on Wednesday with attempted sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police say Hall approached the 11-year-old girl near Elton Street and Pitkin Avenue around 8:25 a.m. Tuesday, grabbed her hand and exposed himself.
The girl screamed and was able to run away, according to a nearby bodega worker who heard the girl screaming.
