Police have identified a person of interest in the fatal shooting of a Brooklyn woman.
Nancy Williams, a 27-year-old mother of three, was shot and killed by a stray bullet in March. Neighbors say they heard two men arguing when shots rang out.
One man is already in police custody. He was apprehended in Georgia while attending a funeral. Williams? family members say they are waiting for the suspect to be brought to trial.
The second man police have identified as a person of interest, who is not in custody, has been seen in Bed-Stuy where the shooting took place. Authorities say they would like to question the second man about his involvement in Williams? death.
Williams? mother says she thinks about her daughter every day, and that Williams? death is a pain that will stay with her forever. However, she says she has hope knowing that justice is close and will be served.
