Religious leaders and elected officials took part in a march over the Brooklyn Bridge to City Hall Sunday to protest the city's ban on religious institutions using schools after hours to hold services.
The march comes in response to Mayor Michael Bloomberg and the Department of Education's policy to evict churches from public schools that rent space after school hours or on weekends for worship.
Those taking part in the march say it would unfairly affect Korean and Hispanic churches.
If the policy is not postponed or removed, it will go into effect on Feb. 12.
