It may have looked like the Bronx was under invasion Friday, but it was just an event linked to the annual Fleet Week celebration.
Thousands of Marines and sailors descended upon the city this week. A number of Marines also swooped in on the Bronx Riviera by helicopter to prep for the real thing.
Fleet Week is scheduled to run until May 27.
