After plenty of chaos from nor'easters over the past month in Brooklyn, the mayor's office is telling locals to be careful with high winds in the forecast Wednesday.
Wednesday brought scattered showers and bursts of heavy rain, which may have caused some downed poles and cables in Carroll Gardens.
New York City's Department of Buildings also issued an alert cautioning construction workers to secure their equipment in anticipation of winds that could reach up to 50 mph.
Despite the warnings, Brooklyn residents were relieved to ditch their umbrellas Wednesday afternoon for some improved weather just days after a snowstorm.
