A medical examiner has determined the autopsy results for a 3-year-old girl found dead in her apartment Friday inconclusive.
Officials told News 12 The Bronx that the circumstances are undetermined pending police investigation.
Witnesses say Crystal Sanchez was rushed out of her Longfellow Avenue apartment on a stretcher. They say she was wearing an oxygen mask and that her back was purple.
Sanchez was declared dead at Bronx Lebanon Hospital. Family members are not aware of what happened but say Sanchez had been sick for a few days, often vomiting.
Police say they have questioned the Sanchez's mother and her boyfriend.
