The New York City medical examiner tells News 12 that there have been two deaths in Brooklyn related to the recent cold weather.
An 84-year-old man died Thursday of hypothermia due to exposure to cold environmental temperature, according to the medical examiner.
A 76-year-old woman previously died of hypothermia in Brooklyn on Jan. 22.
The arctic air mass that brought a deep freeze to the city is retreating Friday night and temperatures should rise into the 30s Saturday before hitting the 40s Sunday and the 50s by Monday and Tuesday of next week.
