The Metropolitan Transportation Authority placed an alcohol ban for St. Patrick's Day until Saturday afternoon.
For commuters taking the LIRR, Metro-North or Staten Island Railway Friday, riders are not allowed to drink on trains heading to or coming back from the parade.
The MTA is restricting all alcohol from now until noon Saturday.
Commuters who violate the rule will be kicked off the train and issued a summons.
