A mural painted by students was unveiled that highlights social issues like stop-and-frisk and diversity in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
The mural is located at Franklin Avenue Monroe Street and was created in partnership with the Urban Arts Partnership.
The mural is the first that the group has done, but members hope to create more murals throughout the neighborhood to encourage others to learn about social issues through art.
