Kids in Borough Park will have another great place to play this summer now that P.S. 192 has unveiled its new playground.

The City Council, the Department of Parks and Recreation and the school's principal have been working the past five years to develop the $1.6 million schoolyard. They say residents should not have to go far to access a park.

The new park features turf fields, a couple of playgrounds and basketball courts. It also has the first wheelchair-accessible play equipment in southern Brooklyn.

The park is open to the entire public.
