Prospect Park opened a new designated grilling space just in time for Memorial Day weekend.
The new barbecue area is located at the entrance of Lincoln Road and Park Drive. It's convenient for anyone living on the east side of the park.
The Prospect Park Alliance says the addition is part of a bigger project to increase amenities on the side of the park.
More grills and benches will be added, and the group says it also plans on restoring the perimeter of the park on Flatbush Avenue.
