The Maimonides Cancer Center announced the opening of a new prostate center in Sunset Park Tuesday.

Maimonides Prostate Center is the only full service prostate center in Brooklyn, and introduces the newest technology breakthrough in high intensity focused ultrasound.

The center is not only new to Brooklyn, but is also new to the east coast of the U.S.

Staff at the center say they pride themselves on their work treating breast cancer and that the new prostate center is an expansion of their current work.

They say with their new center, they're ready to help thousands of new patients.
