The Department of Transportation installed a new traffic system in Prospect Park to improve safety conditions for cyclists and pedestrians.
Under the new system, traffic lights will be green all the time during non-car hours. The lights will only turn red when pedestrians push the button to cross the street.
Many park-goers say they have doubts about the big change.
Park officials say they will be holding informational sessions in July to educate and make people more aware on park safety.
