A new interactive map unveiled by the New York State Liquor Authority will allow users to see just how many establishments selling alcohol are near them.
The map shows liquor stores, bars, restaurants with liquor licenses and bodegas that sell alcohol, as well as nearby churches and schools.
Liquor store owners like Rashad Alghazali say that the map shows how many liquor stores have opened nearby and how it has hurt his business.
The map will also show license holders that are up for renewal and how many violations or complaints they have received.
