New video shows attempted rape suspect in Bed-Stuy
Police have released new surveillance footage of the man they believe was behind the sexual assault and attempted rape of a 24-year-old woman from Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Authorities say the man forced the woman into an alley at knifepoint on Louis Place. They say he then licked and groped the victim.
The woman managed to fight back and break free.
The suspect is described as being in his mid-30s and having a mustache.
Police are urging anyone with information about the attempted rape to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
