Children in Brownsville got to test out and play in a newly renovated playground Tuesday, thanks to a $5 million makeover.
The Imagination Playground is located at Betsy Head Park.
It was designed by the Rockwell Group to encourage creative and imaginative free play with building blocks that will be stored on site and managed by playground staff during peak playground season.
The playground is the first of its kind in the borough. For those who enjoy more traditional sports, there are also basketball and handball courts, as well as a new fitness area.
