Pop star Nicki Minaj's mother, Carol Maraj, is giving back to the community.
Maraj teamed up with Gillian Garcia Artistry to offer a "Day of Beauty" for 30 women from homeless shelters around New York City.
The women were given hair and makeup makeovers and a holiday gift bag.
Participants say they feel very fortunate for the services, especially around the holidays.
