Youngtrell, an 11-year-old Brooklyn rapper, recently released the song “No Justice” – meant to promote unity at a time when the nation is divided.
"I thought of this as an opportunity to express what's been going on in this world,” he told News 12. “I feel like because if I know that I have this gift inside of me – that I can show people what's right and what's wrong."
The video, which was shot on the Black Lives Matter mural in Bed-Stuy, shows images of the protests that occurred in the wake of George Floyd’s death.
The rapper says he's working on new music and will continue to use his voice to spread powerful messages.
