Northeast Corridor Coalition meets over transit safety
Members of the Northeast Corridor Coalition gathered at police headquarters Thursday to discuss transit safety.
NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly, Amtrak police and other law enforcement agencies were among those who reviewed security of the railways and major transportation hubs between New York and Washington, D.C.
Kelly addressed concerns over terror threats to mass transit and talked about three men currently on trial for allegedly plotting to bomb city subway systems.
