A Norwood resident is one step closer to playing with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra after her selection as one of eight semifinalists in the orchestra?s 'Concerto Competition.'
Hutton-DeWys? video submission, chosen as one of the best in the country, features her playing Beethoven's Piano Concerto in C Minor.
Four of the semifinalists will have a chance to audition for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's conductor, with the winner earning $10,000 and a chance to play in two performances.
