The New York City Police Department is investigating a possible hate crime after a Jewish man was attacked in Borough Park.
Police say a 20-year-old man was attacked and verbally assaulted Wednesday afternoon as he was leaving the train station. The Yeshiva World reports the victim was leaving the station on Fort Hamilton Parkway and 43rd Street when a group of four men surrounded him. 
Police say the victim reported the men began yelling anti-sematic slurs at him and punched him in the face multiple times. 
Police say the victim was treated and released from Maimonides Hospital.
The NYPD hate crimes task force is investigating the assault.
