NYPD officers at The Oculus investigated a seemingly suspicious package on Tuesday afternoon in Manhattan.
The NYPD taped off the area by the entrance to the PATH for the investigation and say that The Oculus is now back open after the package was deemed non-threatening.
The confusion was caused by a shopping bag that was left behind by its owner. Residual delays are expected.
PATH trains from the World Trade Center to Exchange Place and from Hoboken were suspended for a short time as the investigation took place, but transit and law enforcement officials say all routes are back up and running.
