The NYPD is searching for a suspect in connection to a shooting that left one person dead outside a gentleman's club in Bed-Stuy Tuesday morning.
Police say they arrived at Amour Cabaret, a strip club, and found a 26-year-old man shot multiple times on the sidewalk.
"Somewhere around three in the morning I think we heard two loud shots and a lot of commotion," a resident told News 12.
The NYPD tells News 12 that they were alerted to the gun violence after their ShotSpotter technology picked up the sound of three shots being fired. Investigators believe he was the intended target, although it's not clear if the victim knew the shooter.
They say leading up to the gunfire, there was a large dispute. People in the area tell News 12 issues are common around the club.
No arrests have been made at this time, according to police. The victim has not been identified.
