An officer fired multiple rounds at a vehicle, and suffered minor injuries during a traffic stop in the Bronx Tuesday evening. 
The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. on East 167th Street and Walton Avenue. 
The officer observed an undisclosed infraction in a gray Dodge sedan and approached the car.  
The driver, 26-year-old Luis Cabrera, put the window up and the officer’s hand got stuck.  
The driver drove off before he was able to break free, and the officer was dragged before escaping. 
 The officer fired multiple shots at the vehicle as it was fleeing. 
The officer was taken to a hospital in stable condition. He suffered minor lacerations to his hand. 
The driver has been charged with attempted assault on a police officer, reckless endangerment and vehicular assault.
